Fang Liu, M.S., is a data curator in the Cancer Risk Program. After receiving her Master of Science in computer science from the University of Chicago, she worked as a database integrator at NASA where she was in charge of flight design database for the space shuttle program. She also worked at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Scientific Library as a medical information specialist. In her current role, she ensures the integrity of clinical data and samples and the execution of protocol regulations. She also oversees data integration and requests for breast cancer genetic research from University of Chicago researchers as well as international collaborators.
